Leaves rash
I love the feel of this moisturiser however after months of working out with my doctor what has been causing an eye flare up have narrowed it down to this moisturiser. Last night thought I would give it another try and this morning woke up with a swollen eye and dry irritated skin. Spoke to a few friends about it and two of them said they also didn’t have a good experience, it flared up their skin or gave them some sort of rash. Not sure what ingredient would be causing such a reaction to the skin like this?

Eye irritation
I have been using this product for a month and I have noticed that this product irritates the my eyes and makes them sting and weep, although I do not apply it on the eyelids and the skin near the eyes.
Can you guess the cause and suggest a solution? Or should I stop using it?

Excellent product and highly recommend!!
I remember buying this from my local chemist, it was an affordable price for what it does. it made my skin feel so highdrated and very smooth, love the way the product glides along my skin. i have gone through 2 containers of this moisturiser and would totally stick with this product !

Best moisturiser ever!
I have really dry but also sensitive skin, and this has been the best product for me. My skin is always super soft and plump and I’ve had endless compliments since using the product. Also works as a primer!

Not suitable for sensitive skin!!!
I was very disappointed. The gel felt luxiourious and was marketed as hypoallergenic and for dry skin. I developed the worst case of dermatitis I've had in years! I had to take a short course of oral steriods to resolve it! My skin was stinging not long after application. Not only did the skin around my eyes and lips become red, itchy and inflammed, it actually began to crack.

I had used one product for 15 years on my face through the day,suddenly noticed little dry patches,tried this Gel,it goes on lightly and feels instantly absorbed,fresh fragrance,ideal for those of us who tend to get clammy skin in humid weather.

I bought this recently and have used it for 3 days so far. But omg I love it. The first day my acne was already starting to heal, especially using the night concentrate as well. Also the smell is absolutely divine.

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
My friend recommended this gel to me as I hate the feeling of cream on my face, but want to look after my skin. On the first use, WOW, my skin instantly looked much better after 15 minutes. The smell is subtle yet nice and it absorbs perfectly into my skin. It helped with the bags I was getting unfer my eyes due to stress and anxiety as well. I am so happy i have found a face gel that works for me at an affordable price !

Love!!!
I bought this product 1 week ago and i have very dry skin. It has work so well that I have it makes my face look clean and fresh. I no longer have the dry skin I had before and I don’t see any dry skin that I would sometimes get under my makeup.

The best moistrurizer!
I had used the neutrogena hydro boost water gel more than 1 year. It is really good products, especially in Indonesia the weather really hot. I have sensitive skin and acne prone skin but this moisturizer is very good on my skin. Love it!

Not hydrating
this moisturiser feels really nice and cooling and refreshing when u first put it on but for me it barely hydrates my skin. i have combination skin and within 20 minutes my skin feels tight and dry again and i feel like i need to reapply

Packaging - why
I love this product but it's very disappointing that the packaging recently changed from a simple cardboard box to some overly complex case with a huge piece of plastic around it. It seems like senseless waste that doesn't add any value to the product. It makes me feel like Neutrogena doesn't have much sensitivity towards the environment. I'm looking for a new moisturizer now that doesn't come with as much rubbish packaging.

The fragrance is unnecessary and irritates my skin
At first the product worked well for me. It moisturised and smoothed my skin, making it really soft and bouncy. However after a couple of uses I could feel there was a rough texture to my skin. I removed this product from the routine and noticed the texture went away after I stopped using this. I looked at the ingredients list and saw there was fragrance in the product. Fragrance is so unnecessary and has no benefits with so many cons. If you have sensitive skin or react to fragrance do not buy this product

Great for acne prone skin!
I have been using this product for 3 months now... The best decision I made for my skin! It’s a great hydrator and it doesn’t leave your skin oily or feeling heavy. Better yet, I don’t get break outs because of it!

Great moisturiser
I do have very sensitive skin. So it’s was very hard for me to choose right moisturiser. I was suffering slot from skin problems but when I get neutrogena moisturiser, my skin problems get reduced though I still get redness, sometimes pimples or acmes as well.

I have used a few of the hydro boost range and with super dry skin, i need an oil based moisture boost, not water based... thought this would be better than oil based, but after an hour or 2 I feel dry again...

An amazing gift for your skin
I used Neutrogena sunscreen. And wanted to try this night cream. I looked all the reviews of customers online. And thought to try this one. But after using it I really feel like my skin is happy or say bubbly. My skin is so comfortable and smooth with this gel. I just loved it. I definitely won’t have second thoughts for using this brand. Its simply miracle. Loved it.

New to Neutrogena
Have used a variety of different moisturisers from cheapies to Clarins. My lcurrent one is Elizabeth arden - Visible difference. It's ok - no complaints but nothing special, however I just bought the Hydro Boost today at Woollies to give it a try and after washing my face in the shower I put it on and it's seriously lovely on my skin. Felt lovely as I applied it and 3 hours later it still feels very smooth - the way it does after a facial. Hopefully it will continue to impress. Love it!

Happy sensitive skin
I got this as a sample, I’m a Clinique user due to sensitive skin but I even get a stinging sensation from their products. So I tried this and NO tingling or stinging and my skin feels gorgeous. The price is kinder as well. My new go to.

Never Again!
Thought it was going to be a good buy because its cheaper than Clinique but ended up wasting my money. This product CLOGGED my pores, the smell is horrible and everytime I use it my skin starts stinging. Ended up throwing it in the bin after 2 wks use. No thanks!
