Sad and Disappointed from
Burning and Itchy Skin
I had high hopes as lots of good reviews. Two weeks after using and my skin feels dry, I look older, my skin feels itchy and burning.
I usually purchase expensive creams with great results but since lockdown and limited funds I decided to buy a cheaper product.
You get what you pay for.

Just a pricey moisturiser
Its a great product and it feels very nice on your skin, but for the price i paid for it I would've hoped for better results. Its more of an expensive moisturiser than an anti-ageing treatment. But it is pretty good for someone just starting using a retinoid or who has sensitive skin.

Burned my skin
I have used this for the last three nights. I have dry skin and it completely burned me! It’s truely hurts and my skin is now dry and I have a red rash all over my face! I spent so much money on the retinol range (day, night and syrum). I have used the deep clean cream cleanser since I was a teenager so trusted this brand to love on to wrinkle cream. So disappointed.

I have been using it for a month now and haven't noticed any difference to my deep crows feet at all. I have slight burning initially but for me it's just a moisturiser I use before my makeup.

Awful product
Used it for about 2 weeks expected the slight burn to start with which occured & didn't last long, however used it yesterday & have burnt skin & swelling that has not reduced under the eye area & lower neck, had to take antihistamines, used plenty of cold water it is still burning 16 hours later, would not recommend this product as it is way too harsh on delicate areas

Not worth it
I brought a jar and used it for two days morning and night on a cleansed face as it stated. By the third day I had a stinging sensation when applying it. By day four I had dry, flaky, and red patchy sore skin. It even stings now trying to hydrate it with a different moisturiser.
Not happy with this product.

Needs to be discontinued!
I am 41 and have never had any skin issues. Never even suffered from acne as a teenager. I tried this product and it has ruined my skin! 2 months after stopping use it (for a week) my eyes are still red raw, puffy, flacky and sore. The side if the box said that tingling sensation and flaking are normal as your skin adjusts. This is a NOT normal. My skin is ruined and my face looks horrible

Redness, stinging
I tried this product for approximately one week. The skin sound my eyes feels right but wrinkles that were never there. The skin burns if I put lotion on now, redness around my eyes and my face itches. I have stopped using it and hoping if I give my skin a break it will start to heal and go back to normal I will never use a Neutrogena product every again

Terrible product
I bought this hoping it would help with my wrinkles, but instead I have what looks like chemical burn around my eyes. My face and neck have red spots and is peeling to the point that I look like a sneak shedding it’s skin. My face is so irritated, I can’t even put lotion on it.

Terrible Experience
I bought this product and have been using this cream for two weeks now according to the directions. I have a lot of burning sensation and pain around my eyes. On the bottom of my eyes, its is very red and sensitive. It hurts so much that I am looking onIine to see if anyone was able to calm the pain and discomfort. Please help!!!! Discolored my eyes and painful
I used Neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair for 4 days, my eyes are now puffy, skin if flaky and my skin felt like it was sun burnt. I now have discolored darker patches on the skin around both eyes that I did not have prior to using this product.

Red, burning skin!
I started using this over a week ago. The first few days were fine. On about the fourth day I noticed my skin being red and burning. I blamed the cold weather. Now my whole face and neck at red and burning. Almost like a chemical burn! I have never had a reaction like this to a skin cream!

Sorry I purchased this
I ordered this product and received it about a week ago. After using it, my eyelids are peeling, under my eyes are burning and peeling. I have dry patches and irritation all over my face. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the product.

Burning sensation

Burning sore red eyelids
I bought the night and day Cream both have caused an extreme irritation to my eye area
I can't use even my usual vitamin E cream now without feeling I have acid on my eyelids.
I'm only using on my neck an chest area as it cost me $40 each tiny bottle and it feels to be working.

Promises, Promises!
I bought this to help wrinkles around my eye. I tried increasing usage slowly perhaphs too slowly but suddenly got burning and tenderness so badly I had to stop using it. It took three days for my skin to calm back down. I had hopes that this would help but is there a recommended time to increase usage?

Wait a week (as promised)
I nearly gave up on this cream on day 3, I hadn’t used a retinol product before and didn’t know anything about the ingredient and hadn’t heard of the “retinoid uglies”. My skin felt soft but looked terrible- red, angry, wrinkled and sore. I had over applied the product thinking more is best- rookies mistake.
A week in and the results started to show, I’d done some research, stuck with the recommended amount, avoided my eyelids(!) and my skin was adjusting. So glad I stayed with it as the benefits are amazing and I am already getting compliments and noticing a massive difference in wrinkles and skin tone. I have a glow again that I thought was gone.

This item broke my skin, redness and pain!
I am so disappointed and sad about this item. I used it for 5 days and I started to feel my skin so sensitive even though I never suffer of any kind of sensitivity. I searched some info about retinol in your website and you said that my skin need to get use to retinol, so to do it progressively, and I did it I used it for one week more (1 day after) and it caused me redness in all my eye area and a extremely pain I had to wash my face and get ride of the product. I am actually wondering if you guys really test this product before selling it because there’s too many complaints in your reviews about the same kind of problems, how is it possible you knowing this still selling this product?!!!!! How dare you! My skin is so sensitive now and how are you gonna repair this now????

Bad experience
I purchased this product 3 weeks ago, and used twice a day, applied all over the face and neck except for around eyes. on the second day of application, noticed red skin and started itching . I dont think I can use this anymore.

Burn, peeling doing and red
I brought rapid wrinkle repair regenerating cream and the rapid wrinkle rapid retinol oil used it and my eyelids and above and under eyes burn and skin flakey when I put makeup on. Starting to sking peel away when I wipe make up off
It stings. I've stopped using these products kinda bummed out cause they wernt exactly cheap and I don't want to chuck them out cause that's alot of money gone. So what can you recommend neutrogena?

Extremely frustrated, waste of money
Bought this product last week and used this product only for 5 days. Within three days skin of my under got reddish and today I saw visible wrinkles under my eyes and my forehead. To be mentioned, I never had visible wrinkles before. I started using the cream just for laugh lines and corner of the eyes. I really don't know what to do with my newly formed wrinkles! This moisturizer can't repair but revoke wrinkles on your skin. I am utterly frustrated and disappointed. It just destroyed my skin.

I wouldn't never have used the words 'Sensitive Skin' when describing my face. I have only used this cream for 3 days (morning and night) and my eye area has reacted to this product. It began to sting and now feels extremely tight and uncomfortable. I have had cold packs on my eyes for relief. I have stopped using this product and will not use it again. I am very disappointed that my face reacted in this manner, I have not had this happen with other Neutrogena products. I would not recommend this to my friends.

Skin rash, redness and itching
The worst product I have been ever used!!

Not sure if I should keep using
I have been using this cream for just over a week and not sure if I should stop. It strings when I put it on and my face feels like it's sun burnt throughout the day. My face feels tight too. Really disappointed.

Not for sensitive skin
I bought this one week ago, unfortunately I could get past 3 days use it stung on my skin and resulted in dry patches. I did try to persist but I had to wash it off immediately on the 4th day.

When I first heard of this product I thought give it a go, you never know. I have been using this now for maybe 3 months or so and I have definitely seen a reduction in wrinkles around my eyes. I will continue using it for sure.
