Cleared my skin!
I had recently tried a new face wash which completely ruined my skin and made it worse so I tried out the neutrogena face wash which is suited to acne prone skin and within a day or two I was seeing results after a week my skin had completely cleared up!

Amazing one
Happy to use it. I love all neutrogena products cause it really works well. Clear and defend facewash reduced my acne and spot and gave me a full glowing skin. It also contain salicylic acid which helps to control acne and sebum. Really love it.

acne worse
I bought this around a month ago as I had horrible teen acne, I tried this out and was very stripping and dry to my skin, I recommend only using this when you have that one day with huge breakouts rather than a everyday cleanser and to use this with a toner to rehydrate your skin.

Worse for acne do not use
Hello I bought this product not even a week ago and my skin has flared up even worse. Every day it has gotten worse and worse with dry itchy areas and big pimples under the skin. I had high hopes for this product and so let down and insecure at the same time. Not something a 28 year old should be dealing with.

Great, but made my acne worse!!
I brought this after using my sisters since I forgot my face wash at her house. I loved how it made my skin feel and the scent is lovely yet subtle. I started using it everyday and I noticed my acne got worse. My skin is normally pretty clear, but I got a few spots/pimples on my face after using it for a few days straight. My skin improved and went back to normal as soon as I took a break from using it. Apparently salicylic acid can make you experience dryness and/or irritation which can make your skin more prone to acne. If your skin is naturally dry then I wouldn't recommend this product.

Bought this about 2 weeks ago, used it for about a week. I have combination skin, and this dried my skin out so bad I had white flakes peeling off my skin. No product has ever had this effect on my skin. Not only that, but I broke out bad in the chin and cheek area. I had a suspicion it was this cleanser however I know sometimes with face products your skin can get worse before it gets better. In my case, it just got worse. I stopped using it a week ago, and my face has cleared significantly. Not a single breakout. In conclusion: don't buy, unless you want lots of pimples and some badly dried out skin.

Pleasantly surprised
I bought this wash in an attempt to clear my painful blind pimples, which I only now struggle with, not so much in my adolescence (strangely). I was concerned as my skin had always been blemish-free throughout my life. I also suffer with eczema and tend to use sulfate-free, organic products. I was skeptical of this product at first, but was advised by a dermatologist to give it a go. It was harsher than what I was used to on my first wash, but immediately I noticed my acne was not reoccurring. The smell is lovely and it foams up well, I suggest using a generous amount of moisturiser after using this product if you have combination/dry skin like myself, but as an eczema sufferer, I tolerated this product very well. I'm pleased, will be purchasing again.

HOW TO USE
Use twice a day. Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and massage face gently. Rinse thoroughly. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly.

This wash is the BOMB! Super gentle but also harsh on dirt. It didn't dry out my skin at all, but I could still feel it clearing the acne on my skin. Smells great, works a treat and I really look forward to using this product every day. It leaves my skin feeling fresh and ready for moisturisation. I can't believe how good this product is and for such a good price!! Thanks Neutrogena!
