Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very pleasantly surprised! Most foaming cleansers I have tried leaving my skin feeling extremely dry, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that one left my skin feeling supple and refreshed. The cleanser gave my skin a deep clean without stripping awat the natural oils.

My skin is normal but can become dry especially in winter and is very acne prone, I often break out when trying new skin care. The Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleanser is everything I could ask for in a cleanser. It foams nicely but not to the point where my face is covered in bubbles, it does the perfect job at removing excess makeup or skincare without leaving the face dry or tight - I have used this cleanser every single day for the past 2 weeks now and have absolutely no dry patches or feeling of tightness after using which is a major issue with most cleansers I have tried. The formula has been non irritating, non drying or stripping while still giving my face a great clean and leaving it feeling moisturised and soft, this is the best cleanser I have tried and will continue to use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels clean and hydrating I really enjoyed using this cleanser, feels very rich and does a good job of leaving my face clean without feeling like my skin has been stripped of moisture. Rather, my face feels very soft and hydrated right after washing. The cleanser also foams up very well even with little product, so given the size of the product, I can see it lasting me a while. It also doesn't have any fragrance which is good for people with sensitive skin. Overall, I would recommend this product to others and also purchase it again myself.

My only concerns were being a skin care product was will it make me breakout and to answer no it didn’t. So first impression it’s thick but u don’t need a lot as u apply it and rub it on on your face it foams up and spreads around nicely and secondly once I washed it off it left my face feeling fresh and soft. I really did like this, it cleaned my skin and didn’t dry it out at all. Definitely going to keep using it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Why oh why did you have to go and ruin it?? I have been using this product for many years and absolutely loved it. Wouldn't use any other cleanser. It foamed beautifully and always left my skin feeling so soft. The new formula feels terrible on my skin. It doesn't foam nearly as well and leaves my face feeling tight and dehydrated. I am so disappointed and will now have to find another brand which suits my skin better.

It used to foam up really well and left my skin feeling clean. Now it is so slimy and hard to remove and has caused me to break out. I will. Or be using again unless you go back to original formula. Please tell me why it was changed?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New formula, much worse The original with the yellow band at the top of container was so much better, the white liquid/cream that turned into a great, oil removing foaming cleanser. The new all white container with the translucent cream is way worse, my skin is way more oily and it doesn't remove oil as much or work as good. I've been using the yellow top one for many years and it worked fine. Release both and clearly label the difference or bring back the original.

I was so disappointed to learn that the formula has indeed changed. I really dislike the new product. The consistency is much different than before, more gel-like as people have said, and it's definitely for the worse. The creamy texture of the original was so much nicer. I have always struggled with oily skin - even at 39 - and have definitely experienced more small breakouts since the change. Worse yet, the price was significantly higher in shops where I purchased it. I'm going to start looking for something better.

It cleans really well and foams up nicely. It is quite stripping and will remove all oil and dirt. I would not use this on dry skin at all.

I use nightly in the shower with a face washer and remove my make up every night. I haven’t found it to be drying for me. No chemical scent, it’s very subtle if any scent. I find a little of this cleanser goes a long way

This did not happen with this face wash. Tough enough to remove all of my makeup and gentle enough to leave it feeling fresh and not dry. Will be using this product from now on.

It effectively cleanses the skin without being overly foamy and stripping. It doesn’t burn my eyes (a huge plus), but it is strongly scented, which is a bummer. If it were fragrance free, it would be 5 stars from me!

I always thought foam cleansers are harsh but not this one! Love the texture. There is a scent but it’s pleasant. I would definitely repurchase this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The cleanser is made The cleanser is made with amino micellar water and is quite gentle at removing dirt, oil and impurities without irritation. It’s Skin PH friendly and made for normal skin but useable for all skin types. When I used this it turned from a pearlescent cream to a frothy one and it left my skin cleansed and soft. It also has a nice scent which I appreciated. I do have others I prefer more though so don’t think I’d repurchase.

I live their hydro boost line but all the other cleansers I’ve tried were ridiculously stripping, so I thought this one would be similar. However, I was pleasantly surprised. This cleanser is very gentle and non-irritating, perfect for a second cleanse. It does not leave my skin dry but also doesn’t have any sort of residue on my skin like some other hydrating cleansers. It has a traditional “neutrogena cleanser” smell which is alright and non-lingering, and it is very affordable. I think it’s an excellent product for a teenager or someone who does not like spending big buck on a cleanser.
