How to Prevent Pimples & Acne with a Skin Care Routine

Rated 1 out of 5 by from would not recommend I bought this four days ago, and I used it morning and night everyday since then and I have noticed a dramatic change in my skin but not for the better. I have recently just completely cleared my skin up and thought that this product would help to keep away the pimples but instead it brought them back after a years work and a build up of insecurities about my skin. not only did it bring back pimples but it is also extremely drying and it has left me with an itchy and peeling skin on my face. I am extremely disappointed and will not be buying this product again and will not be recommending it to anybody

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Okay I bought this product on a desperate effort to clear some of my cystic acne. I had heard great things about it online, so i thought it would clear up my skin really well. At first, i could see clear results and my skin felt great, but after about a month of use, the skin around my chin started to peel off. I used smoothing masks and scrubs every day to try and get rid of it, then decided to see if it was because of the wash. Turns out it was. I now have the grapefruit wash, similar to this, and i find it works a lot better with my skin. If you have sensitive skin, this face wash is not for you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from awful product I bought this for acne. Used it twice, two consecutive mornings. The day of the second morning I noticed my face was starting to feel a bit itchy, tight and irritated. Looking in the mirror my face is red. I don’t know if what I am having is an allergic reaction or if it has burnt my skin. Here I am the third day. I have to go to work looking like this which isn’t great. It hurts to smile or move my face. The best way to describe the feeling is a combination of sunburn and ant bites. Upon googling this product I see many people have had this reaction. Yet the product continues to be sold on the shelves with no warnings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beat hormonal acne! This is the only thing that has stopped my hormonal acne after stopping the pill! It does leave my face tight and dry - but no cystic acne anymore yey!! Now to find the right moisturiser! This is a God send!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more giant red angry acne With extremely oily acne riddled skin I have had a hard time finding an acne wash that works. I found the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash left my face feeling clean and refreshed, yet did not dry it out or leave an oily residue. With consistent use there has been a significant improvement in my skin. Although I still get pimples, they aren't giant red angry lumps you could see from space. The small pimples that do come up are gone within 1-2 days.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Neutrogena oil free acne wash review I liked this product but felt it left my skin a little dry after using. It did however make my skin feel very clean and fresh after using. The product was very easy to use and smelt pleasant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORST SKIN PRODUCT I'VE EVER USED! Initially when I had used this, I had only had a 1 or 2 visible forehead pimples with a few small spots which are not prominently visible unless it is viewed close up. However, I was hoping that the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash would be able to assist and target the visible red acne spot so after testing it, NEVER IN MY LIFE HAD THERE BEEN SO MANY BREAKOUTS! After testing it, my forehead had broke out with so many red spots along with my nose area, as I had applied some to my nose. My skin had also felt extremely dry afterwards but I am feeling way more disappointed with the extreme flaring up. I don't often write reviews but after the absolute harmfulness of this product, I have been compelled to warn others about this product. Once, again, I am extremely dismayed at how this product had exacerbated the condition of my skin - triggering the appearance of more red spots rather than targeting and concealing them. Never recommend this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Red, burnt looking irritated skin. I bought this cleanser specifically for the 2% salicylic acid and I thought it would be a good active to use in a wash on-wash off method. I have used acids before and currently use Tretinoin nightly. The first time I used this cleanser my mum was shocked at how red my face was. But I thought maybe my skin just needs to get used to it. So I used it a 2nd time and I'm red as a beetroot and my skin feels tight. Even after moisturising afterwards with Cerave that contains ceramides. Will my skin ever adjust to this face wash or will I turn bright red every time? Horrible.
